This “maternity” photo was taken on July 12th, 3 days before she was born. One week later we did the newborn session…
Born July 15th (one of 15 babies born in Corpus Christi on the 15th) — she is four days old in these photos…I love newborns. Sleepy and pliable. The “pod” she’s laying in is from a palm tree; very appropriate for a Corpus Christi baby. Had to climb an extension ladder some 15 feet, saw in hand, and liberate it from the tree — I think it was worth it! We (her mama and grandmother) had fun fashioning a sling from the cheesecloth in the other photos…I really like the one with their hands, staging the shot…Enjoy!
You have created some beautiful and touching images for Janae and I treasure forever! We can’t wait to tell Juliet when she grows up how special this day was for us. Thank you for the memories. I can’t stop looking at them. I love you!

Oh Mylanta!!! How precious life is. Hmmm… what an intresting idea…. from the womb to the pod. Who was the genious behind that idea anyway???
Love Fairy God Mother Susu
Why, that would be YOU my darling; mea culpa for not giving credit where credit’s most certainly due! Love FairyGodMother Brenda
Dear Susu!
the finest fairy godsusu of them all! The pod is sheer brilliance! What vision you had months ago – we wish you could have been there – Juliet slept through the whole production! If she stirred she was soothed by her mommy in the most nurturing way – then back to the labors of these incredible images. I view them daily to remind me of the most awesome beauty of life!
